Where it all began

Being an at home craft Mum, it started with making gifts for friends and family.  I was a creative child finding ways to make new things has always been my thing.  I used to love painting and making signs and wall hangings for special occasions, little trinket gifts.   I excelled in art and design growing up and really found a passion in creating individual pieces.

What happened next

It was a big leap, having 3 children all under 10 years moving into what seemed like 'the big boys league' was scary.  I had moments where I thought no one would purchase my items.  I didn't feel I was good enough, but in January 2014 with a little encouragement I took the leap.  I started selling to friends and family and opened my first first business page on Facebook.  It took me another 4 years to finally open my Etsy shop so in 2018 (after looking at it for 2 years) I finally was real.

It was hit and miss at first but gradually I have built my little at home business.  Growing each year, and teaching myself new skills while being supported by an amazing family and small group of friends.

My husband joined me part time in 2018 making wax candles and melts, and also now creates home and car air freshers, room sprays, diffusers, aroma beads and lots more.  Which is lovely, I enjoy getting to test them for him!

Next Chapter

I have been looking at building a website for over 12 months now but it's taken me a while to get the hang of it, but again with the support of some amazing friends and an initial kick from someone who helped me set up and get me going on it, here it is.  I would imagine I will have some teething problems in the first year but appreciate every order and enquiry.

Vision

In the long run I would love to set up some where small and be able to work and sell from my little place.  For now I am happy to continue my personal service from home around my not so little family.  I enjoy being able to create and see/hear from other people.  I love reading the reviews people leave.
